This is the Latin name for the Székely Land, a region that significantly contributes to the cultural and historical layers of Via Transilvanica.
The trail in this section starts at Câmpu Cetății, passes through the Sovata-Praid depression, then continues over the Transylvanian hills, passing through several Székely villages, inhabited by determined and hardworking people who still preserve ancient traditions and customs. From Odorheiu Secuiesc, known as the cradle city of the Székelys, the trail continues to Archita, at the border of Harghita and Mureș counties.
Throughout this section, the Székely communities and the natural landscape stand out, with gentle hills, flowering meadows, dense forests, and pastures. The stages of this section vary in difficulty and scenery. From day to day, Székely Land reveals itself through its places, people, and atmosphere. And of course: the food!
