Putna - Sucevița (Varianta A)
Bucovina - Stage 01a
The stage starts at Putna Monastery, and the road takes you on asphalt up to the town hall, where you follow the Via Transilvanica signposts and reach a bridge, then a paved road that will guide you along the banks of the Putnișoara stream. Continuing on a forest road for 4 km, you will reach the Strujinoasa stream, where the trail leaves the road and climbs through the forest, offering you a cool and peaceful landscape. After an easy descent, you will come across two springs, and the trail will lead you on a more difficult path to a forest road that will take you to the center of Sucevița. It is recommended to check in near Poiana Mărului to continue the trail the next day.
