Sucevița - Vatra Moldoviței

The stage starts at Sucevița Monastery and follows the paved road up to Poiana Mărului, a distance of about 3 km. Here, the route continues on a marked forest road, passing through an area of forest and logging, climbing up a steep road. After the steep climb, the scenery changes and the ascents become easier, leading up to Poiana Ovazului. From there, the road will guide you to a small glen, Poiana Calului, where you'll find a peaceful atmosphere with grazing cows. After leaving Poiana Calului, the trail will take you through the forest to Poiana Rija, where locals can help you with water or stories. Continuing through the forest, you'll reach Poiana Lupoaia, where you may encounter shepherd dogs. From here, the route continues to Vatra Moldoviței, passing through Stoișta and Plaiul Rotunda, before finally arriving in Vatra Moldoviței at the local monastery.
