The trail starts in front of the fortified church in Archita and climbs gently across hills and pastures, passing sheepfolds before entering a deciduous forest. After a quiet stretch on a forest road, the path exits the woods and descends toward the Saxon village of Roadeș, passing traditional houses and farms. From Roadeș, the route continues along country roads and a small stream, carefully crossing near the national road. The trail then climbs through pastures and clearings, crossing dense woodland and passing near Dealul Cetății, where a Dacian fortress once stood. Leaving the forest, the path descends toward the open hills near Bunești, where on clear days hikers can see the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains in the distance. The route continues toward Viscri, the famous Saxon village listed as a UNESCO heritage site, ending near the fortified Evangelical church in the heart of the village.
