The trail crosses almost the entire village of Cobor, passing old homesteads and both churches, then leaves the houses behind and continues on country roads along the forest edge and through open meadows. After a few kilometers, hikers reach Ticușu Vechi, a good place for a short break and resupply. From Ticușu, the route climbs gently through pastures and among centuries-old oak trees, then continues toward the forest on field and forest roads. What follows is a mix of clearings, cool woods, sheepfolds, and hillside tracks, with wide views toward the Făgăraș Mountains and the villages of Țara Bârsei. Near Șona, the landscape opens up into flower-filled meadows and cultural landmarks connected to the world of painter Ștefan Câlția. After passing through Șona, the trail continues on country roads and along the banks of the Olt River, passing an artwork before climbing toward the famous mounds of Șona. From there, the route carries on through pastures and small woodland patches until it reaches Hălmeag, an old village with Saxon architecture and a peaceful atmosphere.
