The stage begins in Poiana Mărului and climbs gently along a ridge road that winds through meadows and scattered homesteads. From the crest, wide views open toward the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. After several kilometers on dirt roads, the trail gradually descends toward the town of Zărnești. Crossing the town, the route passes over the Bârsa River and continues through quiet neighborhoods before leaving the settlement. The trail then becomes a path again, climbing gently into a beech forest where cool shade and silence accompany the hikers. The final section follows a contour path above the village of Predeluț, offering views across the valley. From there, the trail descends through homes and gardens into Bran, where hikers can spot Bran Castle in the distance and the “Heart of Queen Mary” monument nearby, marking the end of another day on the trail in the heart of Țara Bârsei.
