The trail starts in Blaj, following the asphalt road to Veza, then turns into a gravel road leading to the Cărbunari Sanctuary. After a short climb, it reaches a hilltop with beautiful views, continuing through forest paths and hills. After passing through a forest and a gentle descent, the trail reaches Deleni-Obârșie village, where hikers can visit the church. The trail then exits the village on an agricultural road, climbing gently with views of Tău and the Mureș River, before reaching Secășel for a rest.
