The trail starts in front of the church with two religions in Micăsasa, continuing towards new horizons, crossing from Sibiu County to Alba County. Leaving the village, the gravel road gently ascends a hill, passing a rusted car carcass and a water reserve. Along the way, deer, pheasants, and other wildlife can be spotted. After a kilometer of ascent, the trail enters a deciduous forest, with views opening up to the Făgăraș and Cindrel Mountains. After crossing the county line, the trail continues through the forest, and after about 500 meters, emerges into a meadow with stunning scenery. After a steep descent, hikers reach the village of Lodroman, cross a bridge, and continue on a country road uphill. Leaving Lodroman behind, they reach another viewpoint before descending gently towards Valea Lungă. From there, hikers can reach one of the roads in Valea Lungă. Two kilometers from the village, there's a camping site called "La Popică," where visitors can relax and even enjoy a wine tasting at the vineyard.
