The trail starts at the Orthodox Church in Valea Lungă, ascending on a steep path that later becomes a trail along the forest edge. After a few kilometers, the trail enters a deciduous forest, providing cool shade or shelter on rainy days. The sounds of birds and the cuckoo accompany the hiker’s steps. After 2.5 km, the trail exits the forest, leading to a clearing with a large wooden cross. Here, hikers can read the “Legend of the Giants of Țuțumanul Glogovețului” and take a break, enjoying views of the Glogovețului valley. After a brief rest, the trail descends steeply into a canyon and then into the village of Glogovețul, passing by colorful, neat houses. At an intersection, the trail turns onto an asphalt road that leads to a young forest. After a few more kilometers, hikers reach Lacul lui Galoș, where they can rest. The trail continues in a zigzag through fields, offering a great viewpoint of Blaj and the surrounding hills. The path then descends into the city, passing by Mihai Eminescu's Lime Tree and reaching the town center for a well-deserved rest.
