Biertan - Nemșa

The trail starts from the center of Biertan, leaving the fortified church behind, and follows a less-traveled secondary road through the forest. After some climbs and descents, the trail reaches a viewpoint overlooking Biertan. After 4.5 km through the woods, the route continues along the terraced hills of Richiș and reaches the forest edge, descending toward a cornfield. After 400 meters, the trail reaches the asphalt and Richiș, where hikers can take a break. The path continues through the Saxon-style village, leaving the asphalt behind and entering a dirt road towards Nemșa, where visitors can explore the old church and find accommodations and supplies.
