This section of the trail connects Mureș County to Sibiu County. Starting from Stejărenii, the route follows an asphalt road for 3 km to the center of Criș village, where visitors can explore Bethlen Castle. After the visit, the trail continues on asphalt to a farm building, where it gently climbs towards the Sibiu county border, passing through picturesque forested hills. After a short section through the woods, the trail leads to Florești village. This small, colorful village offers a fountain where hikers can hydrate. After a break, the trail continues along a dusty road, passing by sheepfolds and open fields. At some point, the trail turns uphill, passing through a charming forest that hides a mini-canyon. After about 500 meters, the path gradually descends to Mălâncrav, where the village and the fortified church stand atop a hill, overlooking the surrounding landscape.
