After a night in Mălâncrav, the trail passes through terraced orchards and a non-potable hexagonal fountain. It gently climbs a hill, then descends through a young forest, exiting onto a reddish-yellow road toward Nou Săsesc. After crossing the village, the trail climbs to a sparse forest and reaches a ridge with shrubs and tall grass. It descends into Copșa Mare, crosses the village, and continues into the forest. A short ascent leads to a typical Transylvanian hill, and the trail then descends toward Biertan, offering a beautiful view of the village and its fortified church.
